Hipkins Architects is a young, experienced and forward thinking Architect’s practice.  We are passionate about design and the built environment producing high-quality, cost effective, sustainable architecture.

The practice was set up in 2006 and we have over 20 years’ experience of designing and delivering buildings in a wide range of sectors with project values ranging from £30k to £250 million.  We have offices in Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon and work extensively throughout the UK.

We strive to create buildings which are vibrant, healthy and attractive places to inhabit which is essential to the enhancement of people’s quality of life, whether at work, play or at home.

The architects within this Practice are registered as such under the Architects Act 1997.

Sustainability

At the heart of our work lies an environmentally-conscious sustainable approach..  We minimise the negative environmental impact of buildings by creating architecture that enhances the efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy and space.

We incorporate sustainable strategies from the very beginning of a project to ensure that the most cost-effective solutions are included from the outset.  Initially we will use natural resources (free resources) in a building design so that we maximise the use of passive design elements, i.e. siting, orientation (south facing sun and north-light) and natural light with natural ventilation principles to reduce the need for mechanical services.
